Loan check-up

What would you like to check?

Pick one. We'll ask a few simple questions, one at a time.

How the check-up works

  1. 1. Pick what you want to check

Prepay, switch lenders, prepay or invest, a new loan's EMI, or a problem with your lender.

  2. 2. Answer one question at a time

Big buttons for common answers, so it works well on a phone. Go back any time.

  3. 3. Check your answers

We read everything back to you before we calculate, so a typo doesn't give you a wrong answer.

  4. 4. Get a clear answer

A plain verdict with the numbers behind it, and a link to the full calculator with your figures filled in.

Why we built it

Most people don't search for “EMI vs tenure calculator”. They have a bonus in hand, or a call from another bank offering a lower rate, and want to know what to do. A screen full of sliders can be confusing when you're not sure which numbers matter.

The check-up works the way a good bank officer would: it asks only what is needed, in plain words, confirms your answers, and then gives you the answer first and the detail second. It uses the same calculation engine as every LoanReveal calculator, so the figures match.

Frequently asked questions

How is the check-up different from a calculator?

A calculator shows every input at once. The check-up asks one simple question at a time, reads your answers back to you, and ends with a plain answer, such as how much you save or whether a switch is worth it. You can then open the full calculator with your numbers already filled in.

Do I need to share my name, phone number or loan account?

No. The check-up only asks for numbers like your loan amount and interest rate. Your answers stay in your browser while you use it.

Where do I find my outstanding amount and interest rate?

Both are on your latest loan statement, in your bank's app, or in the welcome letter and Key Facts Statement you received when the loan was sanctioned. If your rate is floating, use the current rate, not the one at the start.

Can I hear the questions instead of reading them?

Yes. Tap Voice on and each question is read aloud by your phone or computer. It uses your device's built-in voice, so nothing is sent anywhere.
